I was relieved because I was still a hundred miles away and it was two in the morning. There was no way I’d get there.

If you end up not going, you won’t be able to get your money back. However, if you really need to save some money on a vacation, this is the best way to make your hotel reservations. If you run into a problem, most of these sites have a customer service number that you can call at any time for help. They may not be able to get you a refund, but they can help when you need a good hotel room at the last minute in a different city.
