Bus Trips
If you want to see the country, you have to spend the money to do so. Unless you are prepared to walk, visiting a lot of the places you may want to see will require you to drive or to take a flight. This can get expensive, especially if you have to fly. There is an alternative, though many people would never think to do it. You can take bus trips almost anywhere in the country and you don’t have to spend a lot to do it. It also saves you from putting a lot of miles on your car.
Most of the bus trips you may hear about are set up for special events or to go to special places like museums or perhaps sporting events. You may not realize it, but there are buses that run all over the country and they go from town to town on a regular basis. Some stop in the smallest of towns and once you get going into the system, you can bus trips that will take you all over the country if that is where you want to go.
Bus trips aren’t usually all that expensive either, and you might find that this is the only way you can travel. You will get to see more because you can watch the scenery go by outside the bus, and the saving alone can guarantee that you can take more trips and see more places. You might only be able to afford one flight a year but you can probably get four bus trips for the same price. That’s more traveling, more adventure, and more chances to get away and relax.
The downside of bus trips is that you may have to sit next to a stranger for the whole trip, and there are some buses that just aren’t that clean. You want to go with a company that has a good reputation, and if you can travel with someone, make sure you get to the station early. If you are the first one on the bus you not only get your choice of seats in most cases, you also make sure you can sit with your companion. Sometimes buses can be full and you may have to sit apart because of it. With a little planning, you can make almost any bus trips enjoyable; just remember to look into the details while planning.
