When you don’t have a lot of money but you need to be somewhere rather quickly, you can always rely on bus travel as a quick and easy way to go. Though it might not be ideal, there are times when you may not have any choice. Airfare can be expensive, and you don’t always know that you can get a flight. There are some downfalls associated with bus travel though. For one thing, you have to be on the bus for a long time when traveling. Though there are stops, you may have to use the restroom that is on the bus when you have the need to go. This can be tricky on some bus lines. Though most of them keep their restrooms in good condition, you may run into one that does not. When you take long distance bus travel, this can be something that starts to get to you. There’s nothing like thinking a bus full of people can hear you using the restroom.

You may not be able to choose who you sit by when you choose bus travel, but that can be said for just about any other type of transportation. If you are on a crowded bus you may sit next to someone who you don’t particularly want to spend a lot of time with. That’s why it’s always a good idea to take headphones when you use bus travel as your means of transportation. It will also take you longer to reach your destination when you use bus travel, but if you aren’t in a huge hurry you can save a lot of money.
